1909
Manresa, Pascual Artero, founder of the company
In Manresa he began his legacy with the sale of tools for shearing horses.
1918
Barcelona, Daniel Artero, 2nd generation
Daniel moved Artero to the Catalan capital, where he opened a store that integrated the knife sharpening service, on Calle Llibreteria. At that time he began to specialize in barbershop products, such as soap and razors. It was not after the war, 1939, that some brand of machines, sewing and hairdressing scissors and blades began to be imported.
1946
Barcelona, Fernando Artero, 3rd generation
He expanded his business in Calle Calle 17, the current group store in Barcelona. The business focused on cutlery, barbershop, and machines for dog grooming. Throughout this stage the company distributed professional hairdressing brands for stylists/barbers and for the canine sector. Apart from the store, which today has a space of 250 meters, they had their own machinery for sharpening not only blades but also scissors. Currently, this service represents the brand for its professionalism and quality.
1992
Madrid
The Delegation and store was opened in Madrid, located in one of the most important streets of the city.
1993
Vilassar de Dalt (Barcelona)
The first industrial warehouse located in Vilassar de Dalt was purchased, where, due to the high growth of the company and insufficient storage capacity, it was moved in 2022 to another warehouse in the same city.
1995
Valencia
The store was inaugurated, which 27 years later continues to serve the city.
2000
Key year for the company
The business was diversified with the manufacture of cosmetics for pets and the incorporation of electrical devices such as irons, drying brushes and machines. In addition, that year the company began to export to the European market.
2009
Barcelona
The centenary of the company was completed and 100 years of work, innovation and improvements were celebrated.

Barcelona
Artero International Academy (AIA) was created, a training school for dog groomers. Currently there are more than 100 centers distributed between Spain, Italy and Portugal.

The company received the SME Award from the newspaper 'Expansión' for the internationalization of the company.

The first ARTE-RO US international delegation was inaugurated, located just 100 km from Miami.
